I used to hate cooking. Seriously! Going to the grocery store was a chore, and when I got back I would whip up a not-so-nutritious meal out of a box so I wouldn’t have to spend hours in the kitchen. Even if I’d had hours to spend in the kitchen, I didn’t know how to make much else.
One day, I realized that if I had to cook anyways, I might as well find the joy in it. I started reading food blogs, buying cook books, and experimenting. I have always loved creating things from scratch – from paper projects to knitting – and I started to get the same thrill out of making things in the kitchen.
Four years later, there’s not much I don’t know how to cook and not much I won’t try. I used to be the pickiest eater around! I eat much healthier and I’ve never felt better. I can’t remember the last time I cooked something out of a box.
The recipes on this site are all created with simple, natural ingredients, and nothing so fancy you won’t be able to find it at your local grocery store or have to break your budget just for one meal. I believe in making food so tasty, easy, and healthy in your own home, you won’t want to bother going to a restaurant.
